375 ml botle at home, bought about a year ago.
Black body, with a beautiful, big, dense, coffee colored head, that isn’t very stable though.
Delicious aroma of coffee, wood, chocolate, vanilla, toffee, some ash, alcohol.
Tastes of coffee, wood, ash, dark chocolate, dark fruits, liquorice, some toffee, booze.
Full, creamy mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes alcohol warming, roasty-bitter, quite dry, but still smooth, with coffee, liquorice, smoky wood.

Delicious! Bone dry coffee notes combined with massive, roasty and sweet malts. The nose is almost perfect, while the taste is also great, but not entirely on par with the nose in my opinion. Overall a very enjoyable Coffee Stout, how I love it.

(On tap @ Mikkeller Bar Stockholm, Feb 25 2015) Pours black with a moderate, dense brown head, lots of lace. Aroma of molasses, bittersweet chocolate, dates, coffee grounds, oxidized a bit, roasty/sweet/almost tart. Palate has lots of dark malts/brown sugar/molasses sweetness, fresh ground coffee, raisins, dates, touch of vanilla. Goes from lightly bitter/tart to sweet. Finish leads back into bitterness with coffee grounds and roast at the forefront, a bit of roast cacao, hops in there a bit too. A touch of drying alcohol. Medium-full body with soft creamy carbonation. Interesting, kind of pungent and pretty intense with its mix of coffee, fruit, sugars and that interesting tartness. It is complex and enjoyable, but perhaps not as outright drinkable for me as my favourite imperial stouts.

Bottle at Tø Øl tasting at RJ. Almost black color with thick beige head. Roasted malt, coffee, peat, ash in aroma. Roasted malt, coffee, peat, earthy notes, alcohol, wood. Tasty.

Ciemno brunatna barwa z gesta bezowa piana. Aromat kawowy, palony, lekki alkohol po ogrzaniu. Piwo tresciwe, kawowe, slodkawe, pije sie przyjemnie ale czuc moc piwa.

Poured into a teku glass showing pitch black with half a finger of coffee foam that also lines the glass as I swirl. Abundant aromas of cacao and fresh roasted coffee beans with hints of caramel and toffee. Faint notes of molasses. Medium bodied, smooth, and evenly carbonated. The first impression shows cacao nibs or chocolate shavings. Then a mid palate of slight alcohol burn followed by a moderately strong coffee bitterness. The bitterness seems to be balanced out by the casconade sugar as it doesn’t overwhelm. More importantly, the sugar still keeps this big stout dry and clean - there is no excessive bitterness. As such, no note is out of place and plays a wonderful number on the palate.

Black color with a small beige head. Coffee, chocolate, vanilla, a bit boozy. Taste is more coffee, chocolate, vanilla as expected, with a very pleasant alcohol burn. Thick mouthfeel, but not overwhelming. Rich warming chocolate finish. Nice oatmeal feeling. Really good. Just like an Imperial Stout should be, this is a good reference.
