30cl bottle from Pipetown Traders pours a murky amber with some frothy, white head. Sour nose, weird, dried lemon rind, vegetal, cooked greens, apple cider vinegar, some odd apple compote. Flavor has some apple sweetness, some brown sugar too, less sour than the nose lets on, orange peel, wood pulp, yeast, straw. Finishes slick and a little bitter. Tastes a lot better than it smells.

Bottle. Gusher. Cloudy amber brown color, huge beige head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of lightly spiced raw brown bread dough. Taste is rich, chewy rising bread, caramel, spice. Not very lager-like.

Stubby bottle. Gusher. Pours with a hazy amber hued body with a massive just off-white head. Aromas are of caramel, bready malt, sunflower seeds, low spicey and fruity hops, canned fruit cocktail, canned pineapple. Sweet. Flavors are of a lot of of sweetness, tons of caramel malt, low oxidation (and this is a new beer...bottling issues?), oxidized hops. Rough, mild cardboard and coconut. Definitely not the crisp lager with judicous perle hops that I was hoping for. Medium carbonation, somewhat disturbing pH, medium dry. Not good.
