750mL bottle, pours a dark murky orangey brown with a small white head. Aroma is oxidized, with stone fruits showing up that are massively oxidized. Flavour is so massively oxidized - so stale on the stone fruits. Can't drink this. Might've been better fresh.

Bottle - Vintage 2004 - Lots of sweet grain and some syrupy sugars. Clear gold with no head. Sweet malts and a touch of rounded grains.

Right from the pour, I knew this was going to be good. Huge fluffy head, lasts a while too. Buttery, herbal aroma, right on target. One of the better tripels I’ve had in a while, and from the USA to boot! Good all around....

1 qt, 0.815 oz giant swingtop bottle. The inside of the bottleneck on this has a film of gunk in it...not cool. Pours hazy yellow with a nice white pillowy head with great retention. Aroma is cloying sweet, dough, overripe bananas. Taste is also cloyingly sweet. This is a somewhat old bottle (I don’t see a date or vintage, but the price sticker says 2012, so it should still be good, I would think). I didn’t give this a high score, but I’m giving it the benefit of the doubt that this is better fresh and not giving it even worse than a 2.2 score. Two year old tripels should still be just fine if brewed right!
