Tap into pilsner glass showing caramel brown with clean white lacing. The nose shows light tea and biscuits. The palate is light bodied and moderately carbonated. Flavors of light bread malts on the mid palate but obscured but a strange petrol note.

Served on draft at the brewpub on 10/20/10. Pours a hazy brown color with a medium offwhite head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel, butter and toffee. The taste is very buttery with some caramel, bitter leafy hops and a nutty finish. Medium bodied. Seems like a good ESB ruined by a diacetyl issue, which sadly is not the last I ran into at this brewery.

Cask at brewpub. Poured a rich copper color with a thick, creamy looking head. Aroma was mildly sweet malts, a bit bready, a smattering of hops woven within the malts. Flavor was smooth, creamy, sweet, but it had a decent bitter finish.
