Draft at Churchkey. Poured a dark brown color with a large tan head that slowly dissipated. Aroma was chocolate notes, bitter coffee notes. Flavor was some roasted malts, silky chocolate notes, with a touch of coffee character. Pretty tasty.

Draft at Churchkey courtesy of radagast80something, thank you sir! Dark briwn color, nice beige head. Aroma of peppery cocoa and coffee grounds. Taste is mildly peppery roasty malt. Subtle.

Sample from cask at the Big Tap In on 04/20/2013. Dark brown pour with a medium beige head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt and peppers. Medium body with flavors of smoky malt, grain and subtle peppers. The finish is malty with a mild pepper aftertaste. Luckily the smoked peppers were not overpowering, so this turned out alright.
