Sampled from the tap at Broken Top Bottle Shop. Pours a clear deep amber with an off white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has bourbon and bready sweet grains with a bit of toffee and date underlying. Flavor has a nice toffee and sweet grain combination with some barrel and date supporting.

Taster flight at Loyal Legion. Brown pour, any semblance of head fades quickly. Malty aroma, caramel, boozy. Taste is malty and sweet, noticable barrel notes, and light fruitiness. ABV comes in for a good amount of warmth.

Very malt forward with strong barrel notes. Smooth flavour with more hop than I expected in a barley/wheat wine. Mild alcohol in the finish

On tap at Tin Bucket, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out sweet stone fruits and light caramel. Flavour is quite sweet, with sweet stone fruits, light hop resins and caramel. High residual sweetness to the point of cloying. It's pleasant but too sweet. Okay.

Draft - Lots of caramel and some boozy barrel notes. Cloudy copper with a small beige head. Lots of nice sweet caramel, apple, tons of sweet barrel notes and only a touch of booze. A bit hot, but nice.

Vintage draft of tap at Baileys. Pours a clear copper color with a small white head. The aroma is sweet candies, some barrel. The flavor is mild oxidation, candied fruit, oranges, vanilla, not a ton of barrel and little bourbon. Smooth, big barley. Good beer. Very much an English BW.
