De Quadrum 12 is ons eerste bier en nog steeds ons signatuurbier. Het is uniek in smaak, vol en met een zeer lange nasmaak. Het is een amberkleurige quadrupel van 11,3° die je zal verrassen met zijn kruidigheid. Hij begint zoet, maar heeft de nodige bitterheid van de hop in de nasmaak. Als je dit biertje enkele jaren laat rusten (zelfs na houdbaarheidsdatum) wordt hij zachter en krijgt hij een volle karamelsmaak. Schitterend!

Clear dark amber beer, creamy beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of caramel, sweet, spicy touch, cloves, yeasty. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet, lots of caramel, some sourish touch, dark chocolate, alcohol, banana, little bitter. Aftertaste: bit sugary, alcohol, banana peel, pretty spicy, some cloves, yeast, caramel. Better than the first version, if I recall correctly.
