One of five beers we had on draft the day we opened, this beer leads with aromas of bright, citrusy hops and a little roast in the background. Notes of chocolate and caramel come through next, followed by a slight smokiness, and a relatively dry, slightly spicy finish.
Malts: Pale, Maris Otter, Crystal Rye, C-40, C-60, Victory, Carapils, Munich, Pale Chocolate
Hops: Magnum, Amarillo

Rather translucent for a brown ale. Beige head. Not a lot going on with this one. Some light roasted malts, chocolate, light sweetness, strong bitter hops. Itβs an odd take on a brown- like a citrus filled hoppy brown ale. I love brown ales. I do not love this.

On tap at Reuben's brews, pours a deep dark amber with a small beige head. Nose is reminiscent of a black IPA, with loads of roast and a bit of dry hops. Flavour is similarly like a black IPA, with medium roasted malt, mild hops and bitter chocolate. Full-flavoured and light-bodied. Delicious.
