Rather translucent for a brown ale. Beige head. Not a lot going on with this one. Some light roasted malts, chocolate, light sweetness, strong bitter hops. It’s an odd take on a brown- like a citrus filled hoppy brown ale. I love brown ales. I do not love this.

Draft at the source, with ajax25g. Dark hazy brown color. Aoma of lightly toasted cocoa and caramel. Taste is hoppy brownies. Nice.

On tap at Reuben's brews, pours a deep dark amber with a small beige head. Nose is reminiscent of a black IPA, with loads of roast and a bit of dry hops. Flavour is similarly like a black IPA, with medium roasted malt, mild hops and bitter chocolate. Full-flavoured and light-bodied. Delicious.
