Tasted as part of the 101% gueuze tasting, led by Raf. My least favourite of the base lambics, really could not drink this. Some sourness, some sweetness, and something bitter, but the end result made me think of vomit. Different from the Uli one.

Tasted as part of the gueuze tasting led by H.ertie. Served from bag in a box, August 2018. Sweeter than the young one, almost seems like it should be the younger. Still not much brett, but some more complexity appears.

Probably from a box. Grote Dorst. Colour of well mashed tea. No head. Nose has muscovado sugar. Chestnut honey. Sour apple. Some sweaty leather. Taste is sweet, initially, with an intense, leafy, leathery bitterness. Medium body. Fairly oily. Fine carbonation. Lingering leathery bitterness to finish. Tasty gear.

Gravity bag at Luppolo Station in Rome. Golden/orange opalescent and bright color with a bubbles lacing. Nose: fruity and dollar, red fruits aroma (cherries). Mouth is terrific, rustic fruitiness, hay, overall is very consistent and refreshing with a mild peppery tartness finish.

tasted 1 year old and 3 years old. The 1 year old lambic has a bit of sulphur in the nose, a complex taste with apple, oak and a bit of pineapple. The 3-year-old is far more intense. A truly great beer. Re-rate: oude lambic Café St Anna, St Anna Pede. Again an incredably complex beer. Not very sour. Lemon, tobacco, wood, bubble gum, raspberries, apple, hops even, mustard. Absolutely great. My 3,5 year old rating still stands.

Bag-in-Box at Arrogant Sour 2019, 24 months old.
Amber-brown, clear body, with a small, frothy, yellowish head.
Aroma of overripe fruits, leather, wood, ripe apple.
Tastes similar, with some more nutty notes.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a flat carbonation.
Finishes medium dry, moderate sour, a bit sweet, leathery, wooden, with apples, overripe fruits, some nutty notes.

Very nice. Really rustic stuff, with a lot of old, ripe character. Quite complex, while still really quaffable. Another very characterful one by Girardin. Score: 7 / 4 / 7 / 4 / 15

Tap @ Dudes, Copenhagen. Poured light golden color. Funky apples all over, barnyard. Bit sweeter in flavor and finish. Lovely funk though.
