From notes. Most likely at de Geuze & Kriek dagen @ In De Wildeman. From keg (!). Amber color. Almost no head. Aroma's: fruity, sourish, a bit funky. Flavor is moderate sour, moderate bitter. Light bodied. Reasonable carbonation, which is actually weird for a lambic. Slightly bitter finish. I've had this several times before around Brussels, from plastic container or bag in box, which was much better. I'll rerate that at some point.

15 July 2018. At 'In de Verzekering tegen de Grote Dorst', Eizeringen. Solo tasting.
Age: about 2 years. Pours clear orange with a thinning, frothy & bubbly, off-white head. 'Dankish' aroma of apple, oak, sherry, hay, grass, peach, leather, cheese. LIght to medium funky sour onset, leathery & yeasty, building up a light 'woody' bitterness with hints of grass & hay; sweet, fruity back, notes of apple & honey. Bit tart, grassy hoppy finish, lingering apple & hay, but the dry, woody bitterness has the last word. Light to medium body, oily texture, flat carbonation. Not my favourite Lambic, but quite agreeable in its woodiness. An acquired taste for sure.

Draft at Taplokaal Gist. Color: Very nice crisp, clear golden, thin white head. Taste: Well balanced sweet and sour, notes of yellow fruit, apples. Nice one.
Edit 20th of june 2025: Samples from cask (jerrycan) and bag-in-box at h.ertie workshop at Carnivale Brettanomyces 2025: 1 year old. Clear golden, fruity, a lot of wood, tannins. Dry mouthfeel. Bag-in-box was a little more balanced, a little more refreshing and less bitterness and tannins. Hints of vanilla. Not that much difference from the one in jerrycan.
