Bottle sample at Sap House, pours a clear copper golden. Aroma is incredible, with rich vanilla beans and heavy honey nectar. Flavour is intense, with lots of alcohol, intense vanilla beans and heavy sweet honey nectar. The vanilla beans are amazingly decadent here. Phenomenal.

Bottle from AFH. Some sediment. It’s a peach yellow color. Still nice legs. Smells fantastic. It has a load of delicate vanilla but heavily dominating. You can smell it across the room. I even smell the booze. Whoa. A load of delicious vanilla. In fact, there’s even some peach and apple here. Hmmm. Even traces of cinnamon. Delicious but a load of booze.

375 ml bottle. mostly clear gold with just a few light particles floating. Aroma is soft vanilla, subtle floral, easy honey. The flavor is a reflection of the aroma with the booze showing slightly. I consumed at room temperature and even with the booze, it has nice flavor.

Bottle from Beer Run. Pours a crystal clear bronze color, no head, strong legs. Aroma of honey, citrus, vanilla bean, earth, dust, dry must, heavy booze. The taste is intense honey and vanilla, citrus, lemongrass, booze, burnt sugar and an almost woody character in the finish. Medium-full bodied, very hot. Quite nice. 50th mead rating!
