Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: semi-hazy burnt orange color with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: danky earthy, floral and melon-like hops with a clean malt bill
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine bitter to bittersweet earthy and malty quality; finishes slightly floral and melon-like
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable, good smoothness but also some hop bitterness assertiveness but not too much - just noticeable
Overall: nice enough IPA - somewhat like a cross between an IPA and a NEIPA.

Sampled at the brewery. Haze? Yep. Why not? Everyone is doing it. Hazy sunset orange with some sticky head. Booze and melon schnapps on the nose. Heavy citrus and soap. Flavor is bad. No way around it. Bad bad. Pithy and nasty. Harsh finish. Overdone. Why?

Bottle thanks to Travlr. Poured a slightly hazy orange color with a wispy, white head. Aroma is a nice light citrus notes. Pretty refreshing.

Bottle courtesy of me, finally. Cloudy golden yellow color, fluffy white head, decent lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, pineapple. Taste is very bitter fruit, too bitter for my tastes.

Bomber shared at Slutfest 3, Richmond, VA, 4/21/12. Pours a hazy copper with a thin frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of floral hops and toasted malts. The taste is bitter citrus hops with faint malts. Medium bodied. Fairly pedestrian.

Pours deep hazy gold into a Sam glass. White soapy head with medium retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Tangerine and resin aromas. Medium bodied and sharply bitter front to back. Lasting astringent finish. Not very well balanced.
