Mjödet är gjort på en kristalliserad lite mörkare honung som innehöll nektarinsinslag från väldigt många olika växter.Merparten av nektarn är från raps, vitklöver, blåklint och sälg. "Höst i Vänge" är ett av våra sötaste mjöd, och kan därför vara en välkommen kontrast till våra annars relativt torra mjöd. Något som ofta passar mjöd på mörkare honung väl, dessutom.Det kan också nämnas att mjödet redan som färskt blev "världskänt" då det visats i japansk TV under tillverkningen.

Bottled (backlog). Hazy pale yellow colour with no head. Aroma is sweet sugary honey along with some alcohol and mild spiciness. Flavour is very similar to the aroma, but being rather sticky sweet. Good dessert mead, which probably could be combined to some dessert that would balance out some of the sweetness.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale yellow color with no head. Has a fruity spicy honey aroma. Sweetish spicy honey flavor. Has a sweetish spicy honey finish with weak herbal hints.

Sample at SBWF 2013. Slightly hazy light golden with no head. Sweet and with a lot of honey. Also some light spices and fruit.

Bottle at mead tasting on November 2, 2012.Clear pear color, no head. Sweet, honey, alcohol scent. Sweet, honey, smooth taste. Smooth mouthfeel, sweet finish. Very nice!

Bottle at Stockholm Beer and Whiskey Festival 2012. Clear grape/green liquid. Aroma of pears, booze, honey, raw sugar. Taste is very sweet and has notes of honey and red berries. Full bodied with no carbonation. Nice.

Bottled at SBWF. Lightly hazy golden. Floral menthe aroma. Sweet and soft. Soothing eucalypthus-like honey, some warming white pepper in a velvetty finish.
