Had at the source. Dark ruby or garnet color, no head. Nose is earthy dark malts, tree bark and maybe a dried leaves aroma. Flavor shows the chocolate upfront with the earthy malt nuances in the backend. Has a thinner body and a super dry texture, I’m talking cotton mouth here. Overall it is right on point for the style.

Draft at the source. Hazy maroon color, bright tan head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of dark roast coffee, bitter cocoa. Taste is smooth coffee grounds.
