A Blend of Stouts Aged in Bourbon Barrels for 48 Months
Cellarfolk is our first BA Stout release and it is truly special. The beer was aged and cared for by the amazing Cellarfolk. Aged for 48 months in barrel, we tasted and blended and packaged two of these beautifully rested stouts. The flavor is chocolate toasted toffee dipped ever so slightly in piping hot coffee. The oaky barrel character is well integrated and aged to perfection. We wouldn’t sit on this one.

500ml brought from the zoo visit trip @ Ryan's shared with Josh and Phill.
Aroma: sweet and fruity, very nice barrel, rich and bold.
Taste: along the same lines, complex. Finishes with some light and pleasant alcohol kick.
Overall: one of those best Moderm Times beers they released right before shutting down their BA program. Very nice 👌 🤩

Inky black pour, of course no head. Rich nose, classic MT. Lots of sugars, dark fruits, and bourbon rounding things out. On the palate, the fruitiness really shines, the way is brings depth and complexity to all those sugars. The barrel smooths out the rough edges. Just enough carbonation - it's almost flat but doesn't feel too flat or oily. Excellence across the board.

On tap at Human People, pours jet black with a small tan head. Nose is decadent as hell, with intense bourbon barrels, brown sugar, molasses, and some vanillin. Flavour is decadent and elegant as hell, with rich, velvety bourbon barrels, lush sugars, chocolate fudge, vanilla, and just enough booze. Absolutely exquisite bourbon barrel expression and sensational base. Absolutely sublime—Modern Times in Seattle.

On tap at Human People. Pours black with a brown head. Huge roast, woody bourbon barrels, burnt sugars, and blackstrap molasses on the nose. Flavour has a rich roasted malt base, dark sugars, molasses, and intense woody bourbon barrels. Deep, complex, and wonderfully well integrated with the bourbon barrels. Phenomenal.
