Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours a golden amber with a medium sized foamy almost white head and good lacing. Thereโ€™s floral hops and marmalade in the aroma. In the mouth it is sweet and juicy. Initial flavours are caramel and berry fruits with hints of malts and oranges. Some bitter hops soon come through though in increase in strength so the finish is quite bitter and slightly dry. Refreshing and quaffable โ€“ this is decent.

Two pints, both hand pulled at the Old Orleton Hotel (Wellington, Shropshire) on 8th July 2026. Nice looking beer, golden amber colour, clean and clear, with a solid white crown that lasted on each pint. Caramel nose and initial taste, hops kick in a bit later, some fruit action in there too. Lovely to sit in the beer garden of this hotel after a two mile walk from my house.
