From a can this stuff looks viscous because of the head. Yes, nice fine foamy head goes rocky. Smells bready hop flowers. Quite strong, must be near 7%. Borders on the bitterness of an IPA, wew. So, if you like IPA ignore my numbers and try this one big dull kick in the jaw. Finish is long bitter medicine.

Huge citrus infusion here. Sharp and poignant lemon zest with some sugary malt. Finishes bitter and a little sour. Slightly opaque orange pour with ok head and lacing. Slick on palate. Cask at Churchkey.

Can, courtesy of nimbleprop. Golden pour with two fingers of creamy off-white head. Really nice aroma, albeit a bit mild. Fresh citrus, light herbals, floral, and caramel. Sort a soft and wet mouthfeel, flavors of light florals and herbal hops. Citrus seems to have fallen off. Bready malt base and a mild spicy hop finish. I feel like there is a bit more going on here than I’m really picking up… maybe I’m reading more into this than I should. Enjoyable. I could see this being a local staple.

Pours clear light amber with small white head. Aroma is light herbal hops, medium carbonation, medium/light body, and little lacing. Taste is herbal hops balanced with some caramel malt. Not for me.

Tap. Pours crystal clear orange, small off white head, some lacing. Aroma is caramel and pine. Flavor same. Light sweet, medium bitter. Pretty basic APA/IPA. Would have turned some heads a decade ago, but doesnt stand out now.

Draught @ Capital Ale House, Downtown, Richmond, VA. Draught. Pours hazy amber with small off-white head. Clear aroma of citrus, hops and fruit, with malty touches. Intense, bitter, hoppy flavour, with notes of citrus and needles and touches of fruit. Botter and needlelike aftertaste with notes of yeast. Lively carbonation. Nice.
