A brilliant Gloucestershire variety from the early 18th century, loved equally for eating, juicing and cidermaking. Harvested in the vintage year of 2025, flavour and alcohol are both more intense than an average harvest. Full of fruit, with notes of pear, lime, grapefruit and cashew. A gorgeous, spritzy, springlike cider.

500ml bottle from Ross on Wye. Hazy yellow gold colour, short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of apple, fruit, mineral, funk. Taste is sweet, appley, fleshy, fruity, with some light funk, citric notes, and mellow acidity. Medium bodied, light carbonation, medium sweet acidic finish. Quite drinkable
