Smell of coriander, herbs. Hazy lemon colour, high white head. Aroma of citrus, coriander, wheat, soap. Sweet. Foamy carbon.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 24A - adapted non alcoholic). Can 33 cl - Batch 2417:21 (BBF 23/11/23). AROMA: medium-high wheat, medium citrus and coriander. medium-low sweet background. APPEARANCE: light yellow body and hazy. medium white head with medium-low retention. TASTE: initial medium-high sweet and worty flavour with medium-low notes of wheat, orange and coriander. slight phenols. low bitterness with a sweet finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium to medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: although the aroma is somewhat similar to the original product the excessive sweetness in the mouth spoils the overall experience.

--Canned. -- Hazy golden, small head. Aroma of coriander and dough. Very sweet with light body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Lots of coriander, lots of sugar, some bun dough. No bitterness. Rather cloying, due to the immense sweetness.

Can. Pours cloudy pale yellow with huge foamy white head. Aroma is intense grain and cereal with hints of sugar, lemon and freshly mowed grass. Taste is very sweet, faint bitter and faint acidic. Body is creamy with fizzy carbonation. Finish is long and very sweet with intense grain and cereal but also notes of thin tea, lemon, sweet orange juice, chalk, herbs and grass. Way too sweet for my taste.

Can from Systembolaget. Honestly alco free goes this is pretty drinkable. You get the impression of a Hoegaarden, which is mostly spiced sweetness to be honest, so it works.

Aroma has an artificial feel , artificial citrus fruits, some green herbs, smells like a soap bar. A dirty sour soap bar. not particularily nice. notes of citrus fruits, sour notes (wet textiles that has been wet too long) Flavor is more decent, malts, yeast, faint fruity notes, a little bit of bitterness. Flavor does resemble hoeagaarden, so plus points for that. Apart from the aroma, this non alc is okay, if you like the ordinary hoegaarden.

Can from Lidl Supermarket, Chadderton. Golden-orange with a head. There's a pretty good styling here with mild spices, some banana and lemon available in this obvious 'wit' - it basically just lacks some depth which the removed alcohol content would otherwise give.
