Cask at the Hop Leaf, Reading, whilst showing my daughter how to play bar billiards (a sadly vanishing game). Dull gold with a white head. Dry and wheaty with hedgerow notes and some sweet lemon coming through. A very traditional-tasting golden ale and none the worse for it - this grew on me as I drank more. Not bad.
