Hellen's Early is a legendary perry pear grown in Herefordshire for more than four centuries and it produces a delightful drink with a fruity flavour: aromatic notes of lemon and lime lead into beautiful ultra ripe pear on the palate.

500ml bottle from Ross on Wye, for #rgpm. Pale yellow gold colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of perry pear, floral, fruit, funk. Taste is sweet, perry peary, alittle solventy funk, then tart, with lemony citrus, acidity and tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, sweet & drying peary acidic finish. Nicely drinkable.
