500mL bottle. Pours nearly black with no head. Coffee beans, toasted malts, and plenty of bourbon barrels on the nose; a bit of that green pepper character, but not much. Flavour has plenty of bourbon barrels up front, loads of dark sugars, toffee, a bit of char, some coffee. Body is maybe a touch too heavy, but otherwise this is excellent.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Very dark brown with very minimal beige head. Coffee, very feint hint of floral green pepper, but not distracting. Mild bourbon in the background.

500mL bottle, pours black with a tiny head. Aroma is full of intense coffee, deep bourbon barrels, sticky sugars, and cocoa. Flavour is quite viscous, with intense coffee upfront, deep syrupy viscosity, huge bourbon barrels, and dark sugars. Quite syrupy palate; sweet but not cloying. The coffee and bourbon are nicely expressed. Excellent.

Dark brown, inky, no head. There's plenty of coffee on the nose, toasty malt, lots of dark sugars, and a good bourbon that rounds everything out. Plenty of alcohol on the palate, but really nice dark sugar profile, char, some dried fruits, plenty of coffee as well. The bourbon and sugars bring home a big, lingering, delicious finish.
