Fur Classic is a characterful Viennese style beer. "A rock solid lager with character. The sweet malt flavor is perfectly balanced by a mild but definite hop bite in the aftertaste," wrote the reviewer from Ølentusiasten, who gave Fur Classic 5 out of 6 beer mugs. Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, nutty brown with a small and lacing, off-white head. Lovely biscuity aroma. Medium body, more biscuity malts yet super dry with a slight, finishing bitterness. A Classic to the dry side, but very well made. 020926

500 ml bottle, from Min Købmand, Østerby Havn, Læsø. ABV is 4.6%. Could this be an ALIAS of Fur Vulcano Classic? Does not appear to be brewed for Østerby Bryghus. Reddish amber colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of malts, grain and a hint of caramel. The flavour is dull but not undrinkable, again with notes of malts, grain and caramel, very moderate hops.
