Bottle shared at the craft beer junction bermondsey tasting Dave's devilish deal tasting. Many thanks. A hazed mahogany brown coloured pour with a halo of tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, funky greenish apple, bourbon, salty. Palate is semi sweet, salty, harsh, alcohol. Flavour is composed of caramel, sticky salted caramel, fudge, salty, fudge, spicy.. Super intense.

19th June 2026Dealing With The Devil again tasting at CBJ. Thanks to Wingman. A mild haze on this dark brown beer, small and short lived bubbly tan head. Airy smooth palate, modest fine carbonation, decent fine carbonation. Soft malts, rich in caramel and butterscotch, a little malt cream. Big bourbon but bloody smooth. Rich fruity bourbon. Fairly modest alcohol spice. Oak induced vanilla. All comes together very well indeed. Anchorage pushing the boundaries of what a beer can be. Feckin delicious.
