Rich in flavor and mildly sweet, this amber ale is dry-hopped in the conditioning tank to add a subtle herbal nose. The robust caramel color and flavor is complemented with a frothy head that leaves a thick lacing on the glass. A classic session ale, great with food.

Bottle thanks to Drake! WI brewery #55. Pretty burnt orange with a hint of haze and a small off-white to beige head. Carmel, black tea, light piney hop nose. Caramel, black tea, pine without being piney (if that makes sense), light lemon zest in the end. Quite nice.

Bottle: Cloudy, bubbly amber with a small, off-white head. Caramel malt, lactic scent. Taste is sweet, toffee malt, a little nuttiness. Decent body....not bad.

12oz bottle. Hazy unfiltered orange-tan. Foamy, soapy off-white head. Pretty unimpressive beer. Some biting dry bitterness, not really that enjoyable...leads into a grainy thin malt bill, woody thin amber malt tones. The one-d bitterness is the only thing it has going for it, the malt tones aren’t that enjoyable. Not horrendous, not off, just not so good either.

On tap. Pours a clear amber with a light tan head that lasts through the beer and laces. Aroma has lots of sweet grains with a touch of grass and citrus underlying. Flavor is more of a combination of grass and earthy/sweet grains with a touch of citrus backing.

Draft at Acadia during RBSG. From notes. Roasty caramel and a slight hint of bitter hops. Decent, but not super special.
