GERMAN STYLE PILSNER• 5.3%
Introducing Rowhaus Pils, our newest lagerbier, brewed as a traditional German-style pilsner, and brewed in collaboration with Ron Barchet, cofounder of Victory Brewing in Philadelphia, PA. Rowhaus Pils begins in the brewhouse with soft water and an intensive mashing of 100% Bamberger pilsner malt. Hot side, in the boil, we add copious amounts of low alpha acid German hops including Tettnanger, Spalt Select, Hallertau Mittelfruh, Hersbrucker, + some Czech Saaz for good measure. In the cellar, Rowhaus is fermented low and slow, naturally carbonated, and lagered for many moons. Filtered to a brilliant clarity, the sum of these parts is a beautifully aromatic pilsner bier with delicate bitterness and immense drinkability. Unquestionably one of our finest lager biers to date. Victory — at last!

Lukr pour. Clear golden with a tall white, foamy head. Smooth cereal grain, a touch of toasted notes, bright spicy hops, a touch of mineral. Medium bodied. Finish has a nice spicy bite over the malt. Balanced. Clean. Delicious.

Poured up on tap at Tipsy Cactus where it exhibits a crystal clear gold colored body that supports an off white head of foam. The aroma offers up grainy malts, some fruity esters and a nice cloud of spicy hops. The taste delivers similar notes that are a bit grainy to thin sweet fruity esters bleeding into growing spicy hoppy goodness. It ends as crisp as you could imagine. Really nice.
