Roko’s Basilisk is a bold 7% IPA brewed with Citra, Strata and Krush hops, delivering huge layers of bright citrus, ripe tropical fruit and resinous hop character.
Named after the infamous thought experiment about a hypothetical future AI, this IPA is built around the idea of something powerful, strange and impossible to ignore. Citra brings punchy lime, orange zest and tropical fruit, while Strata adds dank berry, passion fruit and resinous depth. Krush rounds it out with juicy mango, stone fruit and soft tropical sweetness.

Nose is punchy tropicana, pine resin, grass, mandarin, ripe melon.
Taste comprises juicy tropical fruits, pine nip, mandarin, papaya, melon.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy hop bitterness.
Tidy stuff.

440ml can consumed at Creative Juices Taproom, Maple Cross, Rickmansworth, Herts. A hazy golden/yellow coloured pour with a healthy white head on top. Hoppy, orange, lime, pine, tropical fruit action. Another decent tasting IPA from Azvex.

Can. A hazy yellowish gold beer, small off white head. Airy smooth palate, a mild dryness, good fine minerally carbonation on the back end. Light soft pale malts, a pleasant a light creamy sweetness. Soft pine. Mild hop spice. Mild soft skunk. Nice Strata hops, pretty soft passion fruit but also a little unripe strawberry. Krush goodness, loud and clear on the back end, punchy stone fruits and tropical fruits. Soft cooling pine throughout. Effortless Azvex goodness.
