Cervino is our line of beer/wine hybrids. The Red Sangria version takes things one step further by also refermenting the base, oak-aged sour beer on black currants and red raspberries, in addition to a large portion of Marquette grape juice.

Bottle thanks to Kenny. It pours bright pale red with a small white head. The aroma is zingy, tangy, puckering, juicy, sherbet, sour candy, red grape skin, cranberry, vanilla and some medicinal / herbal moments. The taste is crisp, dry, puckering, zingy, lactic, acidic, cranberry, red grape, bright acidity, redcurrant, sangria, splash of fortified wine, granny smith apple, crunchy and red wine vinegar with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Interesting. Bit sharp perhaps, but fun to try.
