Sample at the brewery, inky black, ring of reddish head, legs. Nose has lots of black licorice, chocolate syrup, raisinette. Flavor is sticky and syrupy, black licorice, maple, cocoa, dates. Full, sweet finish.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours black with a brown head that starts and remains at the edges. Aroma is coconut forward with bourbon, vanilla and chocolate supporting. Flavor has a nice combination of coconut and dark grains with growing barrel and chocolate.
