Built on a backbone of Marris Otter malt, this Extra Special Bitter layers rich biscuit and light caramel with earthy English hops that keep things grounded and honest. Clean, balanced, and dangerously easy to keep pouring.

473ml can. Pours a hazy copper with a medium, foamy, short lived, beige head that leaves soapy lace. Aroma of toasted bready malt, caramel and herbal hops. Sweet flavour of biscuity pale malt, caramel, toffee and herbal hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Easy drinking. Not bad.

473mL can, pours a cloudy dark red with a small beige head. Aroma has big bready malt, some herbaceous notes that seem odd, and light toffee. Flavour is reasonably true to style, with lots of English bready malt, toffee, and light caramel. Not the deepest malt character even for the style. Itβs alright.

473 ml can. Pours a very dull mahogany with light head. Aromas of bittering hops and brewing day at the brewery, plus bready malts. Flavors of rye bread and non descript bitter hops. I guess itβs close to style and not offensive; just really boring.
