Hand-pulled half-pint in the Olde Fighting Cocks, Oakengates on 9th July 2026. Pale golden pour, white head. Dry feeling to this one and pretty boring.

Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours a hazy straw with a small scummy off-white head and god lacing. Floral hops to the fore in the aroma, alongside citrus and peel and hints of beef oxo cubes ! In the mouth it is more sweet than bitter but the latter is more noticeable. Flavour is zesty floral hops, lemongrass, pineapple and citrus. Hints of mango and grapefruit later on leading to a slightly dry finish. This is nice and refreshing – perfect for a summer day.
