Two large draughts at the Brewpub during ’Strong Beer Month’ on 5 Feb 2013. Lovely dark, deep amber body with a full creamy head of white foam. Malts all the way, toffee, caramel and just general sweet molasses throughout the brew: this was my favourite beer I had in San Fran, during our 4 night stay. There where some dark berry notes within the maltiness but this is a malt bomb of a beer. Obviously fairly sweet it also packed a good alcoholic kick which suited it nicely. A rich and heavy brew that I took too.

Draft. Rich amber beer with a big creamy head. Malt and light woodsy aroma with light citrus. Pine and woodsy flavor with malt backing. Medium bodied. Nice bitterness. Pine and woodsiness lingers with malt and light citrus.
