Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a clear light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is pine needle, light citrus, grassy hop. The flavour is light bitter with a refreshing crispy, zesty citrus, grassy hop palate and a weak bitter finish. Light bodied with average carbonation. Itโ€™s a nice beer, but not as good as they talked it up to be. Maybe the old hops in the right quantities are still the best.

Bottle @ home. Clear orange golden color, medium sized white to off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma is lightly malts, lightly fruity, nicely bitter. Taste lightly malts, a bit more fruity than the aroma, again nicely bitter. Medium body and carbonation. -- Re-rate August 2014: Draught at Mother Kellyโ€™s Bethnal Green. Hazy yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, some citrus, fruit peel, a slightly sourish hint, a slightly bitter hint. Quite nice. 7-3-7-3-15=3.5.
