Very sweet and very tasty, and oddly it feels more like a lager than an ale.

It’s got some subtle hoppy bitterness that comes well carbonated. A decent dose of bitter that rides through the experience of a full pint. A well done touch of honey. A run around average beer, but a good one to drink at an Irish pub. Had this one at Ceili Cottage.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours copper with a decent head. Aroma of rye and caramel. Taste is about the same. Medium bodied with a creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, not bad, but there are better out there.

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm, 22 June 2011) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, toasty nose with caramel, dark bread and red fruit. Malty taste with notes of caramel, red fruit, toast and a slightly bitter-sweet finish. Medium body, smooth mouth feel, with balanced sweetness and a gentle bitterness. Decent and drinkable, but exciting is hardly the word.

Draft @ Temple Bar, Dublin. Ambre, col ocre. Bière assez agréable qui tend à gagner en un profile malt, noisette et biscuité en se réchauffant. Conserve une légère amertume.
