The IPA is brewed with American Cascade and Australian Galaxy hop varieties that deliver a massive hit of passion fruit, mango and peach aromas and flavour. But the beer is well-balanced, with rich biscuit malt and a creamy note from the addition of wheat. It finishes hoppy, bitter, fruity and malty -- a finely-rounded and refreshing beer.

Keg at Brewdog Shoreditch, Saturday 25th April 2015 Orange almost glowing with a slight haze and a thin white rim. Thick in the mouth a bit syrupy but quite concentrated bittersweet hoppiness comes through. Not sure that I have had many from Five Points, but like this one.A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.7

Bottle. A golden-orange beer with a dense, white head. Hazy. The aroma is citrusy and lemony, with some pale malts and a faint licorice hint. It’s full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated. Resins, citrus and some grassy notes in the flavor, with a nice bitterness and some malty sweetness. Lasting finish. A decent one indeed, but rather boring. 150418

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, amber colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Resinous and slightly tropical fruity aroma, sweaty, hints of purulence, caramel malty basis with a nuttily touch. Taste is slightly bitter hoppy, hints of overripe tropical fruit, sweaty, sultry, almost putrid; more bearable than inspiring.

Pigs Ear. Cask. Almost clear amber beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry. Decent fine carbonation. Notable grassy skunky start to the hops, a little citrus kicks in and then traces of resin and hop spice. Smooth semi dry finish. Very much a ’green hop’ IPA. Hop spice linger.

Bottle at home picked up a Bottledog KingsX. Aroma is sweet chewy caramel, jammy fruit, resinous hop. A little bit of butterscotch and a little bit of alcohol on the nose. Hazed orange / light amber coloured pour with a bit off white head. Flavour is composed of chewy caramel, butterscotch, chewy rough hops, hop leaf, orange skin, Bitter orange. Bting assertive hop bitterness. Palate is medium full with high carbonation. Semi-sweet, bit too much caramel, flabby. Rough rounds the edge.
