Tap at Harajuku Baird. Dark brown colour, small golden head. Aroma lots of hoppy bitterness, bit of roast but dominated by the hops. Taste is pretty nice, initial hoppiness again, maybe bit of citrus, bit of orange, lots of roasty malt, burnt bitterness too. Pretty nice. Tastes like it is stronger. My favourite out of the lot in the Lucky 7 Stout month promotion.

Tap at Bashamichi Taproom, Yokohama. Black colour with a beige head. Sweet caramel, chocolate, coffee aroma. Flavour is rather hoppy, caramel, coffee, somewhat fruity.

Draught at Baird Naka-Meguro Taproom. Very black. Heavy licorice and coffee aroma. Dryish with plenty of coffee. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel, tough a tad syrupy at times. Salty finish with almost aggressive tar.

Tap at Basha. Hoppy citrus nose, chocolate, licorice, light coffee. Shiny black with a thick bubbly head. Hoppy, roasty flavor, nice good, grass, citrus. Better than previously.

I found this much like the Shimaguni Stout, but with the hops cranked up. Very hoppy stout with a good roasted malt backbone. Very American. Still enjoyable, but would rather have the Shimaguni for balance.
