Noir is a dangerously drinkable 4% stout that punches well above its weight. Jet black in the glass with a thick mocha head, it opens with aromas of roasted coffee, dark chocolate, and just enough caramel sweetness to lure you in before the roast takes over. Smooth waves of espresso, cocoa, toasted malt, and biscuit richness roll across the palate, balanced by a dry roasted bitterness that keeps things crisp, clean, and coming back for more.

Stockport Beer Festival 2026 Beer#3. Not quite fully black, but looks it. Smooth and dryish tasting, with an almost keg style crisp silkiness. In a similar way to keg ales of this ilk it's texture usurps taste with a palatable general dark-maltiness, and some sweetness about this.
