Draught at Kamikaze. Deep nose, chocolate, berries, raisin; rich, fruity, and malty. A good orthodox dubbel nose. Orange-brown with lace. Rich malty flavor, not too sweet. Great chocolate fudge and dried fruits. Light, soft carbonation. Very nice.

From tap at Urban Family. Pours clear and golden amber to brown with a small white head. Aroma is roasted, spiced and dark malty caramelish. Flavour the same with a dry and malty finish.

Reddish-brown colour. Gentle carbonation and barely any head. The aroma has a little bit of plastic, alcohol, date, dark fruits. Slightly sweet, but not sticky, with a dark fruit character. Tastes a bit too filtered, but there are some good dark sugar notes.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours ruddy amber with a slight head. Aromas of banana, clove and yeast/spice. Full bodied. Flavor is spicy roast caramel. Smooth. Still think there’s underlying banana and clove. It’s pretty balanced, and there’s something keeping all the malt from being very sweet. It’s really tasty. Maybe it’s complicated. Trust me that it’s delicious, even if words fail me.

Sampled on tap at SIB, pours dark orangey red. Aroma of Belgian yeast, candied sugar and banana. Flavour brings out heaps of banana, caramel and candied sugar. Solid dubbel, but doesn't touch the Belgian brewers' attempts at it.
