Pours gold onto a shaker. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes to Skim surface. Sweet caramel aroma. Crisp and dry with caramel and biscuit front to back.

Bottle from Liz. Pours light amber with a slight white head. Aroma of citrus and floral over mild caramel. Med body. Flavor is light fruit, a bit of floral, and very light malt. So crisp it is, but the flavors are not strong.

Not very good. Herbal, mushroomy and earthy hop flavors, light and bland malt profile, bitter unintegrated finish.

Looks like pale lager. Has a scummy pond head. No visible signs of CO2. Interesting plastic aroma, almost artificial, like a bandaid. Quite dull IPA feel. Moves on to IPA taste territory during the session.Very odd beer experience. Medicinal and sterile.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a quickly fading white head over a golden body. Aroma of hops, dirt and unsweetened biscuit. Taste is honey, hops and finishes a bit nutty. Fizzy and dry mouthfeel.

Bottle on 11/28/2008 in the Great Butters Tasting of 2008. Hazy copper body with a medium creamy off-white head. Sweet caramel, yeasty, floral and citrus hop aroma. Sweet caramel, citrus and floral hops, light yeastiness and a firm but moderate bitterness. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

12 ounce bottle from Sam’s Quik Shop. A more vigorous pour than anticipated creates a bubbly 2-finger head on top of a clear orange-amber. Nice lacing. Aroma is faint, but a pleasant sweet malts and citrus hops. The taste is very similar, citrus hops with sweet slightly grainy malts. Very well balanced and medium to full bodied.

12 oz. bottle from Suttree. Pour is a clear orange gold with a normal white head. Aroma of lemons and flowers, even some malt in the back. Taste is a nice blend of the hops and malt, though a bit thin. Overall, a very nice American Pale.

Hazy orange-ish straw color with a thin white head. The aroma is nothing but a vague malt sweetness and if I concentrate I think I get a hint of hops. The taste starts thin and with above average carbonation. It has a very mild flavor that’s much like the aroma with vague maltiness and mild grapefruit hops.
