When we decided that we wanted a new low-alcohol Pilsner to join our current line-up of lagers, we knew the best name was one we already had.
A Paper Tiger is something that may look fierce and powerful, but is in fact relatively weak and ineffectual, and this beer is one that has all the body and flavour of a full-strength pilsner but clocks in at a mere 3.2% alcohol.
Notes of lemon Pez and wildflower honey are followed by a clean, crisp bitterness to close it all out.

A can randomly bought for me for Father's day. Pils, and light beers, aren't my typical choices, but Bellwoods is always a good to try. This one is a can crusher. A light version on their typical Paper Tiger. Light, crisp, bright, hay malt. Fairly dry. Vague bitterness on the finish. Decent mouthfeel for a 3.2. Overall good if this is in your wheelhouse. Bought from Tommy's Wine Bar, on Dundas in Toronto.
