Labeled "wine" because if it's higher alcohol content, this deep, brown ruby-colored, beer is a grain monster. Starting with English pale malts and followed by caramel malts, both Dark and Light Crystal malts, and roasted barley, this American style barleywine is the perfect tasting finish to a long work week. Put your feet up. Relax. Enjoy. No, seriously. Do it.

Hops - Columbus, Cascade.

50cl bottle pours a hazy, burnt orange with some clumpy, white head. Nose of caramel, some brown sugar, orange, lemon, some light booze. Flavor is very well balanced, brown sugar, mild orange, doughy, pine, a little booze. Full, sweet, sticky finish. Very well balanced. This would take very well to barrel aging.
