A pear of legend - the Worcester Black pear is thought to have been introduced to the UK by the Romans and was part of the troops provisions at Agincourt! Made in the vintage year of 2025, this perry is truly splendid: soft, light, delicate with gentle bitterness to finish. Bottled naturally medium sweet. Up the pears!

500ml bottle from Ross on Wye, for #rgpm. Batch G75. Coppery amber golden colour, white foam head that dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of perry pear, herb, fruit, funk. Taste is sweetish, drying, perry pear, fleshy, fruity, elderflower hints, honey note, with some mellow acidity and tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry tannic peary finish. Nicely drinkable.
