This beer is a collaborative effort together with our good friends—and world class brewers—at Buxton Brewery (UK).
Yellow Belly—a person who is without courage, fortitude, or nerve; a coward.
To us, one of the most cowardly deeds is to act anonymously, hiding behind a group. A signifying trait of institutionalized racism.
This beer is brewed to celebrate all things new, open minded and progressive. A peanut butter biscuit stout with no biscuits, butter or nuts. Taste, enjoy, and don’t be prejudiced.

Botella 33 CL en Cimmeria 03..05.. 2019. (r600) lote GB636 fcpref 11..08..2021.

Bottled, as Ceased & Desisted Final Batch. It pours very dark brown, almost black, with some red highlights, and a moccha-hued diminishing head. Aroma is very intense: different nuts (including peanuts, but of course), cocoa, vanilla, milk chocolate, coffee drop. Very low carb. Dense, silky, firm, sweetish yet very bitter. Interesting.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 11.08.2021, from Alko, 20190416) The beer poured oily and black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, peanut butter, biscuits and sweetness. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, hops, ash, peanut butter, ash, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, burnt and bitter. A pleasant surprise: not excessively sweet and tasted occasionally like a beer should.

Appearance is inky black, a very small tan fizzy ring. No light escapes. Aroma- huge peanut butter, chocolate cake, vanilla hints, caramel, toffee, dark malt, roast malt, trace of liqueur chocolate, coffee. Taste- thick rich chocolate, peanut butter, toffee penny, caramel biscuit, vanilla, roast dark malt, chocolate brownie, milky coffee, more peanut butter. Thick rich mouthfeel. Superb.

Bottle. Appearance - coffee and with a crema head. Nose - honeycomb and caramel with chocolate dropping in behind. Light edge of molasses or even smoke. Taste - burnt bread and chocolate burnt raisins and edge of chocolate. Palate - medium to full bodied. Dry and long. Overall - lovely gear.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - viscous and black with initially a very thick fawn head that eventually reduces to a thin crema. Nose - praline, Jamaica cake, maybe a hint of ginger melded in. Taste - ginger cake, with peanuts and the occasional strawberry syrup note popping up here and there. Dark chocolate going into liquorice and actually treacle is the predominant note on the finish. Palate - rich and full bodied, with a rich middle section and a balanced and relatively elegant finish despite the massive structure of the beer. Overall - huge and complex. It’ll certainly open your mind!
