Brewed to a time-honoured Belgian recipe, Ster is our continental-style lager, brewed with the finest Bavarian pilsner malt, flaked maize, noble Saaz hops and beautifully soft water. Brilliantly clear and pale gold in colour, Ster has a wonderful, floral aroma intertwined with subtle herbal notes. A light grain sweetness gives way to a firm, snappy bitterness and a crisp, dry finish. This is classic European lager as it should be.

Tight white head left a creamy top on on a clear pale golden coloured body.
Grain, biscuit & pale malt aroma.
Medium bodied, frothy, cloying & sticky.
Biscuit, light malt, grain & herbal tastes with bitter lightly hopped finish.
Great Lager.

440ml can from Mitchell Wines Meadowhead - clear gold, solid head. Corny cereal nose, bit of syrupy sweet citrus, sweet grassy finish.

Can picked up at the brewery. Clear pale gold with a nicely thick, lasting semi lacing glossy white foam. Looks boss. Crisp clean dry grain. Floral and peppery hop. Taste has a light biscuit sweetness and firm fresh hop leaf bitterness. Drinks super clean and crisp and pretty dry. More of the firm bitterness to finish. Inspired by Stella Artois apparently (in its original 5.2% guise, I’m guessing). Fantastic logger.
