330ml bottle from Auchan. Thanks Auchan. Pours a hazed amber with large off-white head. Aroma is lightly sweet vanilla yeast. Taste is has a similarly lightly sweet, bready yeast character. Drinks quite light for the strength and wouldn’t necessarily slot it in the tripel box. Some fruity hints. Ok.

Erg goed.

Bottle . Light gushing . Pours rather unclear blonde , bit smaller white head . Smell is typically tripel . Abbey yeast , some bitterness, grainy . Taste is rather bitter. Way less typical than the taste makes you expect . Some hops ( typical (Belgian ) bitterhops, not much aroma . Grainyness is corny , slightly sweet ( not a sweet beer though ) Maybe a bit metallic ( in a nice way ) . Gentle, balanced . Nice , yet nothing shocking . Average on how much I like it , yet unique in its taste . Carbonation is significantly better than most in the style ( produced in Belgium ) - less extreme .

Also tasted under its former name La Mère Noël, when it was still limited to being a Christmas ale. Yellowish white head, hazy golden blonde beer; aroma of peach, honey, nutmeg, banana, grass, pepper, yeast. Dry fruitiness in the mouth, light sweetishness, smooth malts, floral hoppiness in the finish. A bit straightforward but well-balanced.
