330ml bottle. Copper colour with some tiny chunks floating around, average, frothy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, dirty white head. Sweetish, bready aroma, alcohol, herbal background. Taste is sweetish, bready, dusty. Not my cup of tea.

Vacation 2013 @ Virton, Belgium. 33 cl. bottle @ the bungalow, bought @ the local Delhaize supermarket.

Hazy amber with an offwhite head. Fruity yeasty nose. Slighlty bitter. Rather hoppy taste for a tripel. Full warming excellent tripel.

Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting, thanks to Holmen1. Deep golden colour, moderate white head. Malty and a bit "unfresh" and "dense" aroma for a triple, but not unpleasant. Some caramel. The flavour is also malty with caramel, pretty far from the typical Belgian triple.

33cl Bottle at ’De Bierboom’ in Brugge on 17 Dec 2012. Cloudy old gold pour, with a beige foaming head. The nose and taste were both hoppy and yeasty in nature with sweet caramel coming later. Mild citrus hop feel, more floral maybe: the malts however overpower the more subtle hops and this comes across as a semi-sweet tasting brew in the end.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE July 2014, at Hilpeä Hauki, 20130403) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, molasses, Belgian style yeast and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, malts, honey, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, malty and bitter. A maltier tripel with quite internse hoppiness. Not my favourite.

33 cl. bottle @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Very hazy amber, orange with a big creamy white head. Smell is very sweet peel oils, spices, herbal tea, camomile, bark, bitter, real non-soft drink ice tea, unusual, interesting. Taste is sweet spices, herbal tea, sweet bark, orange peel oils, zest, camomile, turmeric, bitter herbs in the back, underlying layer of sweet caramel, toffee and herbal tea, potent bitter finish. Thicker zesty body. Very unusual and almost too much to take in but very commendable.

On tap at Delirium Hoppy Loft, courtesy of 77ships (thanks!). Poured a murky golden head, solid foam. Fruity, malty apricot jam nose... whoa, nice! The taste.... Lemony notes from the hop, herbal and fresh, nice malty backbone, fine bitter finish. Though my notes are vague, I was certain about one thing. This is damn great! 3.38 for this one is a disgrace... I don’t remember when I liked a trippel as much on the first go as I did this one.
