Aggressiva, calda e pericolosa. Una Double Peated IPA dalla schiuma morbida e persistente; un colore ambrato molto carico e un aroma che non accetta compromessi. Con la Purple Ale siamo andati alla ricerca dell’amaro profondo, utilizzando solo luppoli americani in quantità smisurata. Per finire con un pizzico di peated che, senza clamori, la rende in una sola parola…Stupefacente!

Draft at Hoppy Days. Pours clear golden amber with a small off white head. Aroma of bready malts, pine, citrus an toffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and over moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

On tap at Hoppy Days. Clear golden amber-orange colour, white head. Aroma of hops, citrus and pine, toast, leaves, and something funny. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, toast, light smoked chili, caramel, bitter hoppy finish. Medium-bodied, slightly alcoholic. OK DIPA.

Bottle, Domus Birrae, Roma. Attracted by the great Jimi artwork on the label. Dark gold pour with a fading off white head. Bready malts, caramel , hops and booze in the nose Caramel malts, fruit and earthy hop flavour, but the hops are a a bit smothered and not really shining. Never quite got going for me, rather disappointing.

Bottled 330ml. -at Cafeteria Boulevard, Irun, Basque Country. Dark golden/amber coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, mild hoppy alcoholic nose. Moderate sweet malty, light caramel and fruity hoppy taste with mild notes of alcohol and rather bitter finish. Not so balanced but not bad at all.
