Sample in a flight at the Brewpub. Pours pale yellow with a medium, white head and good lacing. The aroma is lemon rinds, biscuits, and mild resin. The flavor is mild bitterness up front, with some bready sweetness in the finish. Light body, crisp, with a clean finish. Overall, this is a well balanced, supremely drinkable, and very nice Kölsch.

Tap. Pours hazy golden with a small white head and decent lacing. Aroma is honey, light grain, light fruit. Flavor is the same, light sweet and very light bitterness. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Pretty good, actually.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy, toasted malty. Mild fruity, toasted malty and straw to grassy. Bitter and light herbal finish.

Brewvival Trip Beer 40. Draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear golden color with a large white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of bread, grain and a almost phenolic note. The taste is bread, grain, honey, apple, grassy hops. Medium bodied.

Draft at the source. Hazy gold color, medium white head. Aroma of hay and biscuit. Taste is peppery bitter straw.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a good amount of hay and sweet grain with a hint of grass and nuttiness. Flavor has a combination of grass and grain up front with just a hint of nuttiness and sweetness inf the finish.
