Brewed in the traditional Bière de Garde style of Northern France. Complex malt, subtle hopping and prolonged cold conditioning creates a smooth, clean malt forward ale, with a rich deep burnished bronze hue, a dense, tight white foam, subtle fruit ester and fresh baked bread crust aromas.

Bottle. Clear amber, a fluffy lasting white head. Bready and toasty aroma with toffee, dried fruit (sultanas, prunes, wild figs), spices. Very much how it tastes. Malty but dries out with gradually tightening bitterness. A slight vinegar undertone is nice.
