A smooth Scottish 80/- with soft malt sweetness, gentle earthy hop character and a rounded, warming finish inspired by heather-covered hillsides.

Cask up the White Lady. Pours clear dark amber with a thin cream-coloured head. Aromas of earthy malt, toffee, hedgerow fruits. Taste is sweet, woody, hint of leather and dark fruit. Light bitter, biscuity finish.

Cask at The Gordon Highlander. It pours clear dark brown with a thick, fluffy khaki head. The aroma is cacao nibs, chocolate bourbons, woody, bitter - sweet, brownie, coffee grounds and some charred wood. The taste is dry, woody, leather, cacao nibs, toasted nut, coffee grounds, dried berry and malt loaf with a lingering drying and bitter finish. Average body and cask carbonation. Maybe lacks a bit of oompf, but it is rounded and quaffable 3.6
